Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone

                  Section 1

       I read a book called Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone. I read 309 pages. The author is of course J.K.Rowing. This book is about a boy who is a wizard. His name is Harry Potter. He was famous because he was the only person who survived against the Dark Lord called Voldemort. But his parents were killed by him. And he had to live with his aunt. He didn't even know that he was a wizard until he was 11. A giant called Hagrid came to Harry's house and told him that he was a wizard. Than Harry Potter started to go to a school called Hogwart. He was very happy when he realized that he was a wizard and that he didn't have to live with his aunt. Anyway Harry went to Wizard's school called Hogwart. He made a lot of friends at there. His best friend was Ron and Hermione. Also he made enemy too. He had best time in his life in school. He became a Seeker  too. About the end of the year, Harry found out about Sorcerer's stone, which makes you alive even you are old. And also it makes you golds. Anyway Harry realized that Lord Voldemort is trying to get it. But Harry stopped him. And the summer vacation started and Harry had to go to his aun't house.

                           Section 2

             I have 2 favorite character in this book. They are Lord Voldemort and Dumbldore. I like them because they are, of course, powerful!!! I like Lord voldemort more than Dumbldore though. Because Lord Voldemort know more about the Dark Arts which is more cool. And Lord Voldemort is like a king. He is a king of the Death Eaters. Death Eaters do whatever Lord Voldemort tell them to do. They obey him. But even Dumbledore is powerful he is just a headmaster of a school.

                           Section 3

         I like this book. I will give 8 out of 10. The story is interesting too. It describe a lot too. I can imagine what's happening. And the book makes me feel as Harry feels. Like when it's part where Harry is angry, it makes me angry too. That's why I like this book.

Independent Reading Journal-Eldist

         Section 1

         I read a book called Eldist. I read 681pages. The author of this book is Christopher Paolini. This book is about what happened after Eragon. Anyway before Eragon went to city of elves Ajihad's daughter Nasuada was chosen to become next leader of the Varden. Then Eragon went to Elves city called Ellesmera, to learn more about Dragon-Rider. Also a dwarf called Orik. Anyway it was a long journey to the city. When they got Ellesmera they found out that Arya was the Princess of the elf. And her mother was Queen Islanzadi. Then Queen Islanzadi showed someone. It was another elf-Dragon-Rider. But they were unable to use their power. But the old Dragon-Rider was able to teach Eragon and Saphira. So Master Ormis taught Eragon many things. And at the Agaeti Blodhren(a big party) gave Eragon a big present. They made Eragon's body like an elf's body. And Eragon could move fast as an elf. Eragon was very happy about this. Anyway Eragon learned many things. Some of them were very, very important things. Things that Galbortorix shouldn't know. While Eragon was learning Eragon noticed that the Varden is going to have a war with Galbortorix. So Eragon pack up to leave and go to Ormis to tell that he was going. Ormis and the Queen gives him some presents. Than Eragon flew to the battleground with Orik. At there he fought a battle. While the battle a Red-Dragon-Rider came out and killed the dwarf-king. Eragon got mad and tried to kill the new Rider. But the new Rider was powerful than him. While fighting Eragon found that the new Rider is Murtagh. And Murtagh tells him that they are brothers. Which means that Eragon is also son of Morzan. Than Morzan told Eragon that the twin were betrayers. Morzan told Eragon that the twin took him when Ajijhad was killed. While they were talking Eragon saw his cousin, Roran coming with people in Cavahal. Anyway Morzan took the Zarok because he is the oldest son. Then he flew away. And the battle ended. Eragon was shocked. But he realize that those things doesn't matter to him now. Then he tells Raran what Happened after Roran had left.

             Section 2

My favorite character is still Galbortorix even though he didn't come out as much as I thought. I already said why. It is because he is the most powerful person in the world. I like most powerful people in the world because they are cool. I want to be like them

         Section 3

I really like this book too. Because as I said before it describes the fighting more realistic. And things which I never expected happens. I think it makes reader more interesting and surprise. I can't wait until the third book comes out.

Independent Reading Journal-Eragon

         Section 1

             I read a book called Eragon. I read 754 pages. The author of this book is Christopher Paolini. This book is about a boy called Eragon who became a Dragon Rider. And now he has to help the Varden against Galbortorix. Anyway I will tell you the summery of this book. Galbortorix was an evil Dragon Rider. And he became the king of Alagaesia. But there were a lot of people who hated him. And they are the Varden. Anyway there was 3 dragon-eggs left and Galbortorix had all of them. Somehow Varden got a map of secret passage in castle of Galbortorix and was able to steal the eggs. But something went wrong so Varden was able to steal only 1 egg. Dwarfs and elves decided to take turn to protect the egg once a year. Little bit of time have passed and it was elves turn to take care of the egg. 3 elves were taking the egg to their city. But Galbortorix found about this and sent a Shade called Durza with some Urgals . And Durza attacked the elves and killed two of them. Last elf called Arya who had the egg, ran away. But she was caught. Before she was caught she thought of Brom who was not far away and sent the egg as close as possible to him. And than she was caught. Eragon was hunting when the egg appeared next to him. He did not know it was a dragon egg but he thought it would be expensive when he sell it. When the dragon hatched Eragon was so surprised. He heard stories about dragons. He was exited because if he raise the dragon, he could become a Dragon-Rider. So he named the dragon Saphira and raised it. While he was raising Saphira two Razacts came to Carvahall and was searching the egg. And they found out about Eragon and went to his house and killed his uncle. Eragon got angry and went after them with Brom. Brom taught sword and magic to Eragon. At last they found where the Razacts are hiding. But they were attached by Razacts but a man called Murtagh saved them. But Brom was so badly hurt he died. Before he die he told Eragon that he was a Dragon-Rider too. And while traveling Eragon was caught by Urgals. But he got away. He saved an elf who carried the egg too while he was escaping. Right before they arrived at Varden they saw Urgals army coming. And the Varden fight the Urgals army and win. Eragon kills the Shade. But he got a giant scar on his back. And Ajihad the leader of the Varden died and Murtagh disappeared. After the war, he decided to go to city of elf with Arya.

                           Section 2

             My favorite character is Galbortorix who is most powerful person in Alagaesia. No one can mess with him!! His dragon is also very powerful. I always wanted to be the most powerful person in the world like Galbortorix. No one dare to kill him. I want to be like him too. That is why he is my favorite character.

                           Section 3

             This book is one of my favorite book because the people use sword, magic and there is a lot of fighting and war. And because this book describe the fighting a lot. Many books describe the fighting like this.- Many monsters came out but Mr.Macknight killed them all with his sword- But this book doesn't.- Many monsters came out. But they were nothing to Mr.Macknight. He took out is sword and cut of the head of a monster who ran toward him. Then he made a fire ball and threw it to the next monster who tried to cut him. As it's body burn, the monster screamed. Mr.Macknight cut the third monster in half.-That is why I like this book. I can imagine the fighting.

2. Sword of the Emperor 2

             Hi. This is my second time writing this to introduce the second book. Sword of the Emperor 2!! One of my favorite book. Now I'm going to tell you the summery in detail!!.

             The first book was about a emperor who ran away from his uncle. And he starts another life. He met EuNo and HuanNo and they put the spirit of ChunMa and HeNeung(Which made Pachun really powerful.). Pachun and two identity. One was Pachun who has power of ChunMa and the other was MoonYun who has power of HeNeung. If I summerize all, the first book is about a Emperor who escaped and became Pachun. Then Pachun got power and went to Middle Land. In to MuLim.

             The second book called Sword of the Emperor 2. Pachun went to DokGoSulLan's house and helped her escape with one of her friend. And he leave DokGoSuLan in TaeShangBangJoo's castle. Then he went to find the House of ChunMa. Pachun finally found the House of ChunMa. Pachun found a mark that represent House of ChunMa in a cave which is on the side of a rock cliff. Pachun went in without anyone noticing. First Pachun went to find one of most powerful person and told them that he is second captain of the House because he has power of ChunMa. No one believed him. So Pachun had to show them one of ChunMa's skill to prove. After he proved that he was the second captain, he got a news that strongest person in this cave is sealed because he tried to be the captain. Everyone had to be one to stop him. His name was GuangMaJon. So Pachun went to find him and defeated him. GuangMaJon said that he will do eveything that Pachun say forever. After that Pachun needed some more powerful people to help him. So he went to find a group of 12 people who is also powerful and defeated them too. After that Pachun decided to show himself to everyone at the meeting next day.

 Sword of the Emperor 1

      One of my favorite book is called 'Sword of the Emperor. This book is mad up of I think about 25 volumes. I finished reading Sword of the Emperor 1 about 3 weeks ago and I am reading 13 right now. I want and going to tell you about summery of this book in details. I will intruduce this book to you. The author of this book is Mu-Sung Im. This book starts with a fight, in China, Ming dynasty. The Emperor's uncle wanted to be a king so he rebelled against his cousin. It was a suddeden attack that the real king who is called GunMoonJae, couldn't do anything. He hardly escape, which was a miracle. When he was running away, he remembered what his grandfather said who knew this terrible thing will happen. "When you need help go and find my tomb. And find my two servants". So GunMoonJae found them. They were two old men called EuNo and HuanNo. They said they sould revenge but GunMoonJae decided not to because the land is not his. But the people's. And also he said that he want to restart his life. He  said he wanted to change everything and live again. And what a surprise!! EuNo and HuanNo said they can!! So GunMoonJae decided to be most powerful person in the history, who is a person called ChunMa. But after EuNo and HuanNo placed ChunMa's sprite in GunMoonJae, it was to hard for him to control ChunMa, because ChunMa was too strong ans evil. So EuNo and HuanNo decided to place a monk's sprit who also was a most powerful person in history called HeNeung. GunMoonJae also changed his name to PaChun. PaChun became a very powerful person because he has abillity of two powerful people. And he decided to become a Emperor of Mulim in Middle Land(Here, China was called Middle Land and Mulim is where people who has special abillity lives.). First PaChun  traveled around Mulim. As he was traveling he met people fighting. It was 1on 77. PaChun helped the person fighting alone. PaChun killed 76 men and told the surviver that he is PaChun who has power of ChunMa. And this news became a great news. Then he went into a hotel. There he made some friends. Of course no one noticed tha he was PaChun. He told everyone that he is called MoonYun. Suddenly  a Mulimin(people who has special abillity) from House of BukBunghe which is most largest house behaved very rude and he and PaChun's new friends got into fight. Because PaChun's friends wanted to stop him doing bad things.  And about 300 men from House of Bukbunghe came and the fight got bigger. PaChun had to use his power but he didn't want anyone to know that he was PaChun. So he used skills of HeNeung. And than PaChun went to see TaeShangBangJoo. Who also served his grandfather and very loyal. TaeShangBangJoo had a high status, so he told PaChun about many things. Most important thing was that there are two types of house. One is called JungDo, and the other one is called MaDo. And JungDo and MaDo are enemy. And the great two news went all over the Middle Land. Which was apearance of two powerful people called PaChun and MunYoon. And they became one of the Mulim Five Sky(It represents top 5 powerful people in Mulim). Later PaChun went to Bukbunghe because he heard there would be a big party and a meeting about destroying MaDo. There PaChun meets DokGoSulLan. She wanted to escape because her father who was captain of Bukbunghe wanted to marry her with a captain from other Jundo House to become a nice friend. But she didn't want to and  PaChun promised her that he will help her to escape.

       This is how it ends.

Apples v.s Oranges

  What are differences between oranges and apples? Apples and oranges

are sometimes alike and sometimes it is different. For instances the place

where they grow, how much they are producted in a year, their colors,

their history and so on. So let's find out the similities and differences

between apples and oranges.

First Paragraph

  First I am going to compare apples and oranges with the place where it grows

and how much it is producted in a year. Every year about 40000000 ton of

apples are producted in the world. And usually apples grows everywhere in

the world exept where it is not very hot orvery cold. Also oranges are producted

a lot in a year. But oranges are producted a little bit less than apples which is

about 38000000 ton. Orangescan. Usually oranges are producted in where it

is hot and not cold.

Second Paragraph

  And next things I am going to compare apples and oranges are colorand

where it is usually used. There 3 colors of apples. It is red, yellow(which is

called Golden Apple?) and green apple. Usually apples are red or green.

Yellow apples are rare. Because we don't see and eat them a lot. I think

none of my friend has seen it, because I never seen it before in my life.

And there are 2 colors of oranges which are red(which is called Bloody

Orange) and yellow(normal orange). Apples and oranges are both taste

sweet and soul. And both of them are mostly used at fruit(of course), juice,

 pie/bread/cookie and other many food.

Third Paragraph

  Now I am going to compare and talk about history of apples and oranges.

At least 2500000 years ago, human started to eat apples. And evidences

of this is because apples that was burned was found in Europe. Also 300

B.C. people in Greek liked apple very much which made Roman to eat

apples too. And because Rome conqured so much contries they also

started to eat apples. And human started to eat oranges way more than

4000 years(Or at least 4000 years). And people started to eat oranges

in India and south-west of china.

Conclusion

  Even apples and oranges both are fruits, but they have many differences

too. Their history, what kinds of colors and etc. So I think not all people

like the same friut. Some people likes apples and some people likes oranges.

So I think I or we can't decide and say which one is better. It depends on

the person who answers this question.

Section 1

I read second book of A series of unfortunate events, which is called 'The Reptile Room'. I read 190pages. The author is Lemony Snicket. Now I am going to tell you the summery of this book. So after the play, their new gaurdian was Dr.Montgomery who study about snakes. So in his giant house there are a lot of snakes. And he discover a biggest snake in the world. But it is totally harmless. But Count Olaf found them again!! And he say that he is a new servant of Dr.Montgomery. The children was having best time with Dr.Montgomery, but Count Olaf messed it all up. And later Count Olaf murders Dr.Montgomery and tries to escape. But they met Mr.Poe so they go back to the house. And children say that the servant is Count Olaf but Mr.Poe didn't belive them. And Count Olaf say that Dr.Montgomery was killed by most poisiness snake.(And the doctor found poision of thd snake) But Klaus found out that after bitten by that snake there should be blue bruses all over the body, but there wasn't any. So the Baudelaire was sure that Count Olaf murdered Dr.Montgomery. But adults still didn't belive it. So Violet finds an injector that contains poision in Count Olaf's bag. So now Mr.Poe belive that the servant was Count Olaf and that he murdered Dr.Montgomery. But of couse thins time too, he escapes.

Section 2

Like I said before on the other journal, I want to be friend of Violet. Because she is a good inventer!!!!!! And she is smart too. And even she fails, she never give up. For example after she failed to open the bag of Count Olaf's, she didn't give up. And she tried again and suceeded to open the bag.

Section 3

As I said before I don't like this book very much. Because even in this book I don't understand them!! For instance why didn't they tell Dr.Montgomery and Mr.Poe like "Please belive us!! last time noone belived us so we almonst got in big trouble!! So belive us!!" of something like that, even when they didn't belive them. This was the reason why I didn't like this book a lot.

I read a book called 'The Bad Beginning'. It is Series othere was a rich family called Baudelaire. They had 2 daughter and 1 son. Eldest was called Violet. She was a good inventer. Than the son was called Klaus. He was a good reader. The youngest who is a infant, was called Sunny. She loved to bite things with her 4 sharp teeth. The siblings has a terrible life. And this life start after f Unfortunate Events. I read 162 pages. The author of this book is Lemony Snicket. Now I am going to tell you the summery of this book. In a city, the death of their parants. When their parants die, they were adobted by Count Olaf who turns out to be a bad man who wants to steal the money of Baudelaire. He make Baudelaire do all the chores and hard works and later he told the Baudelaire that he is a bad man. So the Baudelaire told Mr.Poe that Count Olaf is a bad man but he didn't belive them. So Count Olaf  kidnaps Sunny, the youngest and plans a wedding play. And he tells the audience that this is only a play. But after Violet says 'I do' and she signs the paper, Count Olaf says that this is not a just a play. But the Baudelaire had tricked Count Olaf. So after they got Sunny, they say that Violet didn't sign her name with her right hand. So that Violet has to sign her name again with her RIGHT HAND. But of course she didn't. And than the audience tries to catch Count Olaf, but his companions and he ran away. And the Baudelaire will go and live with other guardian.

Section 2

I wants to be friend of Violet because she can make something what I want or what I need whenever I want. And she can fix many thing, so I can ask her if she can fix my things that are broken. So I think that it will be fun to play with her. Because she can invent many things. And also she is very very very rich.Ha Ha Ha...(I am joking about the last sentence.)

Sectoin 3

I kind of like this book. But I didn't like it a lot. Because sometimes I didn't understand the Baudelaire. For example, why didn' they tell Mr.Poe that they can't live with Count Olaf because he treats them so badly. For example, he lets them use only one small room, and makes them do hard works. And so on. I don't understand them. I won't do what they did if I were one of them.

Section 1

 I read a book called Star Wars- Jedi Trial(A Clone Wars novel). The authors of this of book are David Sherman and Dan Cragg. I read 337 pages. Now I am going to write about the summery of this book. The CIS(robots) attacks a planet called Intergalactic Community Center. And they block the Aid-message from Interglactic Community Center so no one can come for help. So after a lot of time pass, Jedi Councial sends Master Halcyon and Anakin. And with Zozridor Slayke, they fight against the CIS. And this mission is a Jedi Trial for Anakin. The Republic could not attack the center hard, because the CIS has hostages. So they planned somethig big but it failed. So they planned that Anakin will go and save the hostage with few clone troopers. And the planned worked. But when they found the hostage, and was escaping one hostage who looks like Anakin's mother die. And Anakin got mad and capture the general of CIS. And they wins the battle. And Anakin will get Jedi Hood which is for Jedi Knight, not for Padawan. And Sith Lord realized that Anakin will be usefull in future

Section 2

 I want to be friend of Anakin because he's force is powerful because he is the chosen one and he is very smart. For example, Anakin captures the general of CIS by himself. Thins tells us that he's Force is powerful and that he is the chosen one. And sometimes I could learn about Jedi skills. And I could even learn about Force!! And the best thing is I can become a Jedi too!!!!!

Section 3

I like this book because it is about fighting which I like. Like having battles, fighting with swords, guns, tanks and so on. And the Star Wars(Clone wars novel) is one of my best five books!!! So of course I like this book!!!

I learned these things:

I leared how langauge and culture effects our life and that reading engish book alot is very good.

And also I learned about enviroment. I learned alot of things more than this.
