We are reading a nice book called"The Trumpet of the Swan". It is a nice peaceful book, BUT I HATE it! Because it is really weird. How can a Swan talk??!! How can they go to school and the president of school didn't even know?!!...etc. Many weird things happened in this novel. When the cob knows Louis is a dumb, I thought he will abandon Louis, but he didn't. I think Sam is a nice guy, he help Louis a lot, not just brining him to school, he also helped him to find a job too to pay his debt because his trumpet was been stolen by his father. I think this book is REALLY REALLY REALLY weird and amazing because lots of things that only human can do happens on this GENIUS swan. That's why I dislike this book and think it's crazy!

Introduction:

"Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes" are talking about a little girl who called Sadako, she born at 1943 and died at 1955, which World war 2 happend at that time, and she died because of the atom bomb. Sadako is a really good runner at her school, she join running team and she win alot of running race. But this doesn't stay for a long time, Sadako get wicker and wicker every day, at last she been send into a hospital. In the hospital her friend came and look after Sadako, she told Sadako that if you fold thousands of paper cranes, the god will grant you a wish so you can get healthier. Sadako start folding it every day, but no longer she died. Her friend help her to finish the thousand cranes, so she can still be happy at the heaven.

 Character:

I like Sadako the most, because even she's going to die she is still optimize, so i think this is the way i need to be.

Conclusion:

This is a really touching story, it is OK to read, not too hard and not too easy. The book is really thin, but it is enough for explaining this story. This is a true story, if it really happen on me, i think i will need to learn things from Sadako, to be brave and to be optimize to everythings.

I hide and hide and hide in my closet

Hi!its been a long time that i didn't see you, when i know you are leaving, i hope i can leave with you, but i know it is impossible. i have alot of happy memory with you at grade 5 and 6. i remember that when the first time i saw you in grade 5, i found out you are the only person that are shorter then me!haha~~ and i don't really likes you at that time because you didn't smile for a long time and i thought it will be hard to make friend with you,but i'm totally wrong, you are really kind to me and you helps me alot. I have a poem for you:

Best memory appears with you and me

I've been love and hate you for all the time

The spririt of love will always be here

The spririt of hate will pass away soon

helping each other are the way we are

we laugh and dance enjoying every day.

Everyone eat oranges and apples, BUT have you ever compare apples and oranges? I think most of the people will say no. They both have different kind of shape, color, history, appearance...etc. So now, I'm going to compare them, see what are the different between both fruit.

Apples and oranges have different colors; apples have more colors than oranges. Apples normally have four colors: red, dark red, yellow, and green. When an apple is rotten, it will become black outside and brown inside. As for oranges, they have only two colors: orange and green, and they are green only when they are unripe. I think apples are more appealing than oranges when it comes to color, because apples have more variety.

Both apples and orange have different varieties, but which one has more? The answer is apples. They both have a lot of varieties but for the basic type, apples have more than oranges. Oranges have only three basic varieties. First are the sweet varieties. They are large and really juicy, but their skins are harder to remove than other kinds of oranges. Valencia and the blood orange are both popular sweet oranges. Second oranges, also known as bitter oranges, are mostly use for cooking or for orange liqueurs. Third are the loose-skinned oranges. They are kind of sweet and they peel easily and separate into segment easily. Apples, on the other hand, have six basic varieties: Golden Delicious, McIntosh, Granny Smith, Jonathan, Red Delicious and Rome Beauty. Apples that are green and crunchy are called Granny Smith. Apples that are red, crisp and sweet are called Jonathan and Red Delicious. For baking, Rome Beauty will be a good choice. Again, I think apples are more attractive, because of its varieties.

Apples and Oranges have different uses; but I think apples have more uses. Oranges, it can be for eating raw and juicing, but it still have a great range of uses, from salad to frozen desserts to marmalade, pastry making, and also cooking, oranges' peel can be use as an oil too, those are for sweet oranges. Bitter oranges are use to make marmalade, jam, jelly, syrup, and sauce. Apples, they are the best choice to make pie, juice, apple meringues, cakes, jam, cookies, pudding, sauce, rice curry, soup, salad and also be bake or an ingredient in dumplings! Cool! Apples and oranges they both can be for making juice, but only apple can make apple pie, orange can make oil. The reason why I think apples have more uses is because, people love to eat pie, but oranges can't make a pie, so mostly people will know apples more than oranges.

I think Apples and Oranges both have same value. If we are talking about the taste, I like orange more then apple, because oranges are more juicy and easy to eat it. If we are talking about the color and shape, I like apple more then orange, because apples are brighter and bigger.

Just Annoying

  Summary: "Just Annoying" is a really fun novel. It tells about a boy who called Andy, he's always doing some annoying things in his life. one time, Andy and his family are going to a trip. on the way, he is always asking"Are we there yet?". After a few minute, Andy's Father is really angry to Andy, he throw Andy out of the car and drive away, but Andy was lucky, because he saw a bike-man and the bike-man drive him to chase his parent. On the way of chasing his parent, Andy did alot of stupid things. At last, his parent stop the car and get Andy home. What a funny story. 

Character: My favourite Character in "Just Annoying" is Andy, because he always did some stupid things and he makes me laugh for a long time.

 Personal Response: I really like this book, because it makes me laugh, and i always read this book without my father calling me to read book. This book its easy for me to read(but not really easy), and next time i think i'll read a book that more harder for me.

Does enviroment change you to another person,or the culture and language of other country??

I live in Taiwan until Grade 4, because of my father, I move to China when i'm grade 5. At first, i thought China's culture and Language are same as Taiwan, but i'm totally wrong. Offcourse, China speak Chinese,but they pronounce the word in diffrent ways. Their culture and life-style are diffrent from Taiwan too, i change my life-style when i came to China, like; when i'm at Taiwan, i'm always happy when its weekend, but at China, i don't really like weekend because i don't know where to go or what to do. The time i go to school have change too, at Taiwan we need to be in school at 7:20, but at China 7:20 is the time that i'm eating my breakfast, i'm happy about that, but the first year i came to China i always wake up really early. At Taiwan i have more friend then at SSIS, i think its because SSIS is a International school so every student came from other country, its more harder for me to make friend from other country, but i always try and they are really friendly to me, because i wants to make more friend, so i also change ways to make friend. At Taiwan i speak Chinese at school, but at China i need to speak English, i'm not use to speak english when the first year i came to SSIS, but now, i'm use to speak English, and sometimes i even forgot how to speak Chinese.Now i need to study English at school and when i'm at home, i need to study Chinese.

Does enviroment change me? I think i'll answer yes, i really change alot when i came to China, and when i came to SSIS, my life-style, Language...etc have all change, i don't really wants to change, at first i thought i will not change my lifestyle but after one year, my life-style totally change. Its not bad to change yourself, just be happy all the time!:)
