Cho-Chen-Ling

i read a lot of english books this semester, and i think i shall keep working on writing because it is important for my future when i need to write an essay or project..., i also need to memorize more phrase and words i don't know because i might use them on writing to have a better work on it.i think i shall deserve 6 on the grade, because i work hard and shows lots of effort. i donno whether i shall go to Englsih b advance or not, it's a hard dicision for me... and i don't care even though my mom cares, haha!!!

Tittle: Dangerous Girl the taste of night,

Summary:  Destiny Weller and her twin sister, Livvy, were as close as sister could be -- until Livvy chose to be a vampire leaving Destiny, Mr. Weller and her younger brother Mikey behind. Destiny felt so unhappy and will like to do anything to exchange her sister back into a normal peopole instead of a vampire, and also let her come back to the family. But the world that Livvy have chose to live in a world full of endless darkneess  and evil. Livvy also missed her family too, but she is already a "vampire", she can't go back to normal life unless her father find a cure, but he hasnt. Livvy knows there is only one way she and Destiny can be together forever -- Destiny must become a become vampire too. Meanwhile, the vampire's leader Patrick was also killing the vampires who are too eager to come back to human world, and he is also hunting for Livvy and Destiny too.

Personal Response: This novel is a fast and breezy vampire tale with a few nasty shocks, not quite scary but it's full of adventure.I like this book

   How are you now?? I knoe that you're now beside me "REALLY BESIDE ME", and I know I can just tell you what I want to say, but I'll just say it in the Entry!! I'm still writing this letter to you just because I'm boring! I'm now quite boring because I don't even know what our journey tittle is about!! That's why we start writing letters to eachother!!Because we're boring, I was kind of frustrated during today, because I feel so boring, boring, boring..., I know you feel like that too! i like this movie's music, and their dance, it may not be hard to tell that they are all very talented, each characte have different personality too, and the actor shows very well, this movie is talking about gangs, "Sharks" and "Jets". They hate each other very much because they always go to each others area. But unfortunately, Riff's (Jets leader) friend is in love with Bernado's (Shark's leader) younger sister immediately. which cause Riff's friend which i forgot his name death, at last, he died and his love Maria lives, kind of weird, unlike Romeo and Juliet.

Tittle:Firewing, Author:Kenneth Oppel, Pages:pg 262

Summary: This story is about bat, in the forest, a Silverwing newborn-- Griffin, was the son of Shade and Marina, he made an terrible accident and killed his best friend Luna. After that, the forest that they live in has an terrible earthquake, and Griffin was sucked down deep into the earth, he is in the underworld which God Zotz rules. Shade, Griffin's father, no longer found out that his son is now in the underworld of death, he went down into it too, and realize it is really a tough jourey for alone him to save his son, plus their is also someone hunting for Griffin, a cannibal. At last, Shade found his son but Griffin's life was already taken by Goth-- the cannibal bat, so he use his life for letting Grififn and also his friend Luna go back to the Upper world.

Characters: Shade Silverwing, Luna Silverwing, Griffin Silverwing, Nemo, Yorick, Goth, Zotz, Dante, Frieda,

Both movie, both talking about two rich household -- Capulet and Montague, both of them also hate eachother, which at last they need to have a payment for what they've cause --- their child shall die! Even though they are both talking about the same situation, still, I prefer the older one, the actors put in much more feeling in it whether on speaking or making movements, this is what the modern one does not have. And plus, in the modern one, Romeo doesn't even look like what he should be, he have less motion, he acts wild, so I like the old one better. If I say that "Romeo" love "Juliet" in the modern one, it wouldn't sound reasonable to me, because they didn't "really" put into their feeling into the modern one, and especially Romeo. So, I like the older one much more than the modern one, one of the main reason is because they didn't put their feeling into it.

Tittle: The Golden Compass, Author: Philip Pullman, Pages: pg 399

Summary: Lyra Belacqua have always lived peaceful in the Jordan College, with her dæmon familiar always by her side. Till her fearsome uncle -- Lord Asriel, draws her into the dangerous world, full of Gobblers which are trying to catch her and stole other children..., witch clans and armored bears. As she traveled to the North with Lord Faa. Lots of things happened unexpectedly and also lots of battle happened, she also found her own parentage. She also entered to the another new world -- the sources of the Dust, Aurora.

Characters: Lyra Belacqua, Pantalaimon (Lyra's dæmon), Lord Asriel (Lyra's father), Mrs. Coulter, Iorek (new bear king), Lord Faa, Farder Coram, Mr. Scoreby...

Personal Response: this is a fantastic novel, adventurous even though it's quite complicated, but this book is interesting!

Tittle: Awakening, Author: Robin Wasserman, Pages: pg 207

Summary: J.D may not know the truth of her past, she have lost all of her memories, still, she know's she's in great danger, and she can't get away of the terrible scene that often appears in her dreams. She awakes in the hospital, and was send to Chester Center for Juvenile Services. She made a friend there -- the only friend she've got since being awaken, Daniel. But then after a few weekend, her "mother" came and get her back "home". She wasn't quite adapt to it, she feels she doesn't even "belong" to this place, she've also met Dr. Styron, a "special" doctor for helping her "getting" back her memories that "happened before". However, she thought it was unbelievable, not realistic. She can trust no one -- especially herself, she was in the darkness, trying to figure out who she is and where does she come from. She also have a terrible experiment -- much more terrible than forgetting her past -- remembering!!

Personal Response: This novel is so interesting , full of mysteries, it really makes you feel excited while reading this book and try to think the ending part -- even though the ending is also a mysery too !! It makes me think, you know trying to think is good to your brain, do't let it be an empty brain!! However, I don't actually like to "think", but this novel make me "think", think of the ending, mysteries of an age 13 girl, why everything happens.....

Tittle: Sunwing, Author: Keth Oppel, Pages: pg 243

Summary: During the Second World War, the USA military have developed Project X-Ray, a top secret program in which bats were trained to carry and trasport to make the explosion. They've trapped hundreds and thousands of bats for this experiment, eventually, hundreds of bats have escaped from the test range, and Shade is one of those lucky bat. During seaching of his father -- Cassiel and the secret of the missing bats, he had came to the Human buildings -- one of the test range. Even though the place was such a Paradise, Shade and his Brightwing friend -- Marina felt weird of this place, especially when some of the bat inside the building suddenly disappear. When both of them finally escaped and helped some of the others escape too, they were trapped in the jungle of cannibal bats. Together, the normal bats and the owls defeat this battle.

Personal Response: This is an excellent novel, represent life is full of challenge, and we shall always be optimism. It also tells the history which have happened a long time before

  Sometimes I like to disturb others or ignore others on purpose, that's true! I always like to ignore my brother, the reason is, he always like to interrupt my friend ane mine conversation, so I soon leart just leave him alone, and soon, he will found out that's it's boring. I always use this ways when my brother have a conflict with me, just let him talk to himself and simply don't answer him. And later, I will simply tell him that he is only disturbing me cause I'm doing my homework.

  It's sometimes quite fun to disturb others too, and I like to do that, you may think it's childish, but I soon found out that I quite enjoy disturbing others on purpose. When my brother is writing his homework, I'll simply pat him, and when he scream out, that's when I laugh. I'm quite of mean, i think myself are! It's natural, teasing and beating something is just a business when you do while you're boring!!

  i "LIKE" teasing, especially my brother, he is always fun to tease, and I've never tire of teasing him
